Something small that actually matters

Vitamin deficiency

One thing I’ve realised lately is how many people think feeling tired all the time is just part of being an adult.

Low energy, poor sleep, brain fog, constantly feeling “off” and most people blame stress or busy schedules. Sometimes that is the reason. But often, the body is simply missing nutrients it relies on every single day.

The strange part is that vitamin deficiencies usually don’t show up dramatically at first. It’s subtle. You feel flat more often. Recovery takes longer. You wake up tired even after sleeping properly.

Modern lifestyles don’t help either. Stress, processed foods, hard training, dieting, long work days, all of it can slowly drain the body without people even realising it.

What’s also interesting is that men and women commonly run low in different areas.

For men, nutrients like magnesium, zinc, vitamin D and omega-3s play a huge role in things like recovery, sleep, energy and overall performance. For women, iron, magnesium, folate and vitamin D are often incredibly important for mood, energy, recovery and general wellness.

The goal isn’t to take a cupboard full of supplements.

It’s just making sure your body has the support it needs to function properly day to day.

Sometimes the basics really do make the biggest difference.
